A Reflection on Today's Scripture:

We read scriptures that say many times "Jesus is Lord", "Jesus is our
Savior", "Jesus is our intercessor", and simply acknowledge this and
say AMEN! So be it, we are graced with Wisdom!

Jesus our Savior lives forever and intercedes for us with His Father.
As the high priest and the perfect sacrifice, He took to the cross
all of the sins of all mankind once and for all. He is the Lamb slain
for our sins, the perfect one without blemish!

Once again, we are in the season of Ordinary time in our Liturgical
Calendar. As we meditate on the short thirty-three years Our Savior
lived among His people, can we say it is truly "ordinary" time?
Rather, perhaps, EXTRA-Ordinary Time would be a better description.
Why, even the unclean spirits in the Gospel recognized the Son of
God.

Do we proclaim that Jesus is the Lord of our lives, that He is the
reason for our very existence? Do we know that without His hand upon
us, we cease to be?

                    Lord Mighty God,
                         I am here!
Help me to do your will.
                         Amen!
