I have the native Windows version of postgres installed now. It is still very slow. I did a `select * from dbmail_messageblks` and it lasts about two minutes to fetch 100 rows! This is very slow, and I don't think that the Cygwin version is much slower here. Why is this so slow? This makes me think about other options. Wouldn't it be faster to store the actual messages on the harddisk? Gerrit -- =^..^=
