We had tried to integrate gtkpod with libgpod into Solaris before.
However, we put the project on hold because of some issues. cc'ing
Jerry, who knows more about this.

We are working to get a shared copy of SQLite into Solaris, hoping that
it can be supported by database group. 
However, if you are working towards putting SQLite onto OpenSolaris
only, I don't think there's a problem. The spec file on SFE is well
written we've been using it for a period.
