Songbird uses the concept of a first-run bundle where users are prompted 
to download and install OS-specific add-ons upon the first time they run 
Songbird.  So the iPod add-on (and thus libgpod) aren't ever actually 
distributed as part of the initial package.

I believe this means there wouldn't be any issues with libgpod being 
part of the OSR.

Ideally I think our project plan would be to make packages available via 
something like SFE.  I would really like to see it available as either 
part of Indiana or SXCE, depending on the timeframe though.  So if that 
means filling out all the OSRs and trying to work with the shared copy 
of SQLite, then so be it. :-)
