The problem to solve is still the copyright holder.
I am still hoping that the Software Conservancy will be able to solve this
for us. Last I heard they hoped that it would be a question of a few months
(and I am perhaps interpreting this a little too optimistically) but I
haven't heard from them. I will get back to them to get a new plan.
The other option, i.e. setting up a foundation for ourselves (or joining
some other foundation) are still possible but I have not gone further there
because of the complexity I see.
