In some environments - for example with a clever linux or freebsd kernel it may may perfect sense - i.e. if you can be sure that the kernel has enough (filtering/sense) to take care of this. But yes - do this in the wrong environment and you shoot yourself in the foot. But then again pick the wrong Accept method and you do the same ! Dw
