I haven't given news for a long time and I'm really sorry about that...
Now I see that you're talking about SunGloss so I have to wake up!
For those who don't know me yet, I'm Language Lead for French at Sun
which means that I work with translation agencies to ensure translation
quality and use of the proper terminology.
SunGloss is the reference translators use for all Sun translations, I
update the French SunGloss with new words and review old translations
regularly.
Of course, I know that SunGloss is not perfect and I understand all the
drawbacks André has mentioned.
But I think it's important to have a reliable reference for Sun
terminology and, as a matter of fact, SunGloss exists and could
certainly be more helpful if we would extend it with Community input.
We could work together and find a solution in order to maintain and
leverage this glossary (at least for French).

Could we have a discussion on this and see if we need a tool that
allow us to build and maintain our glossaries, with an easy search
through languages, able to handle comments or definitions and with
some revision tags.
