I'm just trying to understand what you mean by 2). How is Solr's support of
function queries downgraded if they dont have the Solr package name?
I can appreciate the need to be able to make changes easily but with function
queries becoming so widely used in Solr, Solr users and probably Lucene users,
I think having a stable interface is a good thing.
