If somebody else wants to take a lead in that process then we might get
somewhere faster... I just want to get to the end game... even if Maven
doesn't find a use for my creation I will find some project to attach it

As I said, if my owl gets selected I will let the community decide the
mascot's name... seems that for this owl everyone wants to call it
"shotgun" ;-)
