Apologies for noticing this just now, but would it be a big deal to use
capitalized RC (in this case specifically RC-1) rather than lowercase RC
for the generated jars? I don't know if there is some formal ASF naming
policy in this regard, but having lower case rc is completely alien to
Scala OS (this is the first time I have ever seen it). This also includes
Akka which also used capitalized RC (see
https://akka.io/blog/news/2020/07/23/akka-http-10.2.0-RC2-released and
https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.typesafe.akka/akka-http_2.13/10.2.0-RC2
as an example).

The same goes for milestone (i.e. M2) although we are not doing that.
