Alright - so how are we going to find these new recruits? They aren't going to fall out of the user mailing lists or web forums into the project, or are they?
Actually, this might be the best place to recruit. So one thing, and I know this is tough - we could just come out and ask folks. This can be asking people one on one, it can be asking people via the monthly newsletter, or ? One point here - I'm not talking about asking people to show up for one day to a bug hunting party - that's a good thing of course - but what I'm talking about is asking people to make an effort to participate over some period of time. ( I'll be coming back to this "bug hunting day" comment I believe, but in a slightly different context ) I suppose this is leading to another point - this isn't going to happen over night or by accident.
