For vector graphics xfig is stable and featured. It has some nice features
in there i would like to see in dia, e.g. manually tag objects to create
compound objects, shade areas, rotate objects, more export file
formats, etc -- and i _strongly_ hope they will get into dia, in time.

But xfig is quite old and there are somethings in there which i don't like and
i hope dia will fix them.
