I am one of these users, but with a twist: I use a bookmark keyword
(Firefox) to "I'm Feeling Lucky" of Google:

    http://www.google.com/search?q=%s&btnI=I'm+Feeling+Lucky

This allows me to type "l ixda", and voilà, I'm on http://www.ixda.org/!
