Or a data and networking janitor. ;-) Diesel mechanic (with the accompanying trade training / schools and "valued employee" sort of meaningfulness...) might be a model that represents the future for a lot of folks tolerably well. The spectrum of folks in the profession is likely going to stay incredibly broad until someone outlaws installing the OS on your systems 'for yourself'.....
