What? It was a requirement at the school I attended that the co-op/internship/whatever you got was paid -- it was a graduation requirement to have two internships actually. Unpaid ones had a significantly higher burden of proof to demonstrate their usefulness and benefit to the student. As it would be, I am hiring a (paid) intern/co-op. Still havent gotten any decent resumes, though.
