IMHO Monthly PAD is preferred - less overhead to worry about, tracking anniversaries of renewal or issuing refunds. Were a Month to Month organization. Discounts are a pain in the ass and punish those who don't have sufficient means to up front $480.00

But the ful pros and cons would need to be debated. It could warrant further discussion at some future point. While I know it is possible as things stand (just indicate that the extra funds are for future dues), maybe we should encourage this by offering some sort of discount. For example, my old tai chi club offered a year for the price of ten months if you paid in advance. Thoughts? I think automation can solve this. Jay, at one point, was working on software to track members and send out automatic reminders ands tuff. I don't know what, if anything, ever came of that, but perhaps we should explore developing some membership database software? Maybe even crowdsource it and have a hack-a-thon with pizza and an afterparty at the Yellow Dog (cheaper than hiring a dev team :) ). Just a thought, possibly dumb. :) > > > > > > > > On Mon, Jan 27, 2014 at 4:40 AM, Nathan Wild > <nathan.w...@gmail.com<mailto:nathan.w...@gmail.com>> wrote: > > > Greetings... > > > > Just a reminder that 5pm today is the deadline for submission of proposed > > changes to our bylaws.
