I've been using the iPeng web page for a while, and I finally switched. I love how fast and natural iPeng is. It's changing the way I listen to music.
Here are a couple of minor suggestions: - The select player and playlist overlays are very nice. However, it's generally bad UI design to have critical functions in non-obvious places - novices might never find them. I would add a "Select player" choice somewhere, and a playlist icon in the upper right hand corner, and treat the overlays as shortcuts. (Many years ago I helped design software at Apple.) - I have encountered the volume control issue. - Have you thought of moving settings out of the app and into the springboard settings? - You might want to put a button somewhere and launch Squeezecenter's settings page into Safari. It would save me a couple of steps. Or not. - I really miss the alarm clock and sleep functions, and still use the web page to set them. Not a biggie, and I know you're working on it. These are nits though. Very nice app, and I like your commitment to simplicity. -- EyeRonik1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ EyeRonik1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20292 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55514 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
