Well, instant karma got me.... After my bold claims that my rebuffering problems were fixed, they've started again. Back to square one....
BTW, I'm running SC on an XP machine with plenty of RAM and a reasonably fast chip...certainly enough horsepower to do the job. I'm now thinking the issue may be the connection between my router and the host PC. They're not in the same room, and the layout of the house is such that the only way I can get a reliable connection is through powerline adapters.
