I think maybe you're confused about where LMS is to be run. The player
being developed should be compatible with the current LMS as it is.
There's been some talk about one day getting LMS to run on the player
itself, but that's a secondary goal. Toward that goal, the idea is to
design a system built around a processor powerful enough, and to give it
enough memory that it might be able to do that in the future.
