Sorry to cast a sour note about how this project is evolving. It seems to me that there's a danger of putting all the eggs in one basket by choosing one specific board. The 'success' of squeezelite is due in part to the fact that it can run on a wide range of devices (in the same way LMS does).
I'm not a technical geek, but it seems to me that a wider market would be served if the 'module' could be deployed with a wider variety of devices. I may have missed something but how is this system going to handle the media processing side of things? Is there going to be a 2nd. generation 'LMS' software system driving everything? Will this be tied to the wandaboard, or will it be deployable on other devices?
