 IMHO (from the user's side) the hydration loop isn't as robust as the dev
 team imagines.
 }}}

 We don't imagine anything. Hydration is a critical part yes and we've
 spent a lot of time on it. The original algo does not stem from me/us we
 just improved it. I would be *very* happy, of course, if someone can come
 around with a shorter/less complex/more performant/more robust
 implementation. That would be awesome.
 One problem in the 1.x series is that hydration is only tested implicitly,
 not explicitly and stand-alone. I changed that in trunk (2.0) where the
 hydration can be tested isolated and fed with faked result sets. This will
 make it more robust, i hope. If someone has a hydration issue he/she would
 just give us a dump of the problematic SQL result set and we can create a
 proper hydration test for exactly this result set.

 I will run the benchmarking code through the xdebug profiler as soon as i
 can, and review the patch. Even if i cant reproduce this on my machine it
 should be addressed since it apparently is an issue.

 Thanks for discovering this!
