I couldn't tell whether "have you any explanation why it was moved from
its original server?" was something you were saying or you were putting
out as the customer saying in a role play.

I will assume the latter and what I would say would be something like:

"your domain expired x days ago. we have sent you x notices (depending
upon the settings you choose in your renewal management) and you have
not responded. perhaps we are using the wrong email address. we have
sent them to [EMAIL PROTECTED] would this be correct?

in any event, not to worry as your domain is still renewable. please go
to xxx and follow the instructions here (directing them to the page
where you clearly and easily tell your customers how to renew. you have
that right?). and don't feel bad. this happens to many people. with all
of the spam and phishing today it can be difficult to get people's
attention by email. is there another method of communication you would
prefer?"

or something like that. now the above assumes that this discussion is
in the first month or so after the name has been moved. if it is later
than that I would have a different rap. let me know and I would be
happy to share!

Regards
