Hi Maxine,

I'm sorry to hear the documentation for the Auction service isn't as useful
to you as you'd like. I'm also surprised to hear that it doesn't work in
Mozilla; that's the first I've heard of that. From my experience, both the
online help and PDF version work in Mozilla; however, I may be the minority.
Does anyone else on the list have this problem? If so, which version of
Acrobat Reader are you using?

Are these the documents you're referring to?

Online help
http://documentation.tucows.com/domainauction/enduser/index.html

PDF
http://documentation.tucows.com/domainauction/domainauction_enduser.pdf

I also include a zip file of the online help so that Resellers can customize
it:
http://documentation.tucows.com/domainauction/domainauction_enduser_html.zip

If required, I can post a Word version. Please let me know.

All of the above documents are available from
http://documentation.tucows.com/

Thank you,
Clara

Subject: Re: [domains-gen] auction proceedure

Hi Nick,

In my opinion there are problems with this model. There is
nothing in any of the Auction help documentation, which as
you know, we as resellers can't modify, that advises the
auction bidder they are responsible for the annual renewal
payment to the reseller.

It is also my opinion that the auction escrow timing
should be spelled out very clearly to the bidder. Right
now it is hidden in the documentation, and if you are
using mozilla browser, can't even read.

Other then lowering the starting price, I don't see a lot
of Tucows resources going into this model. I've decided
to table any marketing until I see some progress.
