Look in the Drakelist archives for messages related to cleaning Molex pins and
re-seating boards. Then do that as the first troubleshooting step. Cures most
strange problems with 7-line radios these days. Following on from that, I would
look at the DC-DC converter board in the front right corner of the radio, there
are a couple of well-known failures there. This board is critical to proper
operation of the synthesizer. Be advised, if you even breathe on the pots at
the top of this board wrong, be prepared to do a fixed passband alignment
(which is simple and easy to do).
