Here is a good tech article from Apple. It will explain the types of
batteries as well as the types of chargers. It's important to note that
there were 3 different chargers. The first one will not charge a Type III
battery. The second one requires a firmware update to charge Type III
batteries. The update procedure is explained in the article.
