ADB runs at less than 9600 bps. It's somewhere between 8500-9000 bps
I think. Besides that, ADB is a single-wire bus (normal serial ports
have a send line and a receive line), and the ADB protocol which
allows all devices to send and receive data on the same wire has a
lot of overhead. I'd guess no more than 2000-3000 bps effective
throughput.
