The only thing that interests me is the upcoming birthdays - I get the announcements in email too! List me as another person who uses the (Lynx-scheme) sitemap as their "find anything" page. I never use the portal, the front page, the "MyLJ" (is that the portal?) or any of the crap I'm "supposed" to want.
