Personally, I'd avoid dragons, mainly because of the fannish implications. Not bad, but limiting.
I'm rooting for a llama. Or a turtle. Nobody's got a turtle out there. As long as it's easy to photoshop and looks good on clothing I"m happy. If you can photoshop the mascot into clothing? Well double points for that. Nora Bombay, forgetting her own name at this point.
