With everyone else who says "I start with my Friends page" (or reading list, or whatever it's going to be called. Page wherein all the new entries I want to read show up). That said, as a logged-in start page, stuff I'd like to see: - Space for links (I don't mind if they're predefined based on site usage - for example, people with support points or whatever get a support link, people who've got photos or other files get that, etc.) Of particular interest: inbox/messages/comment tracking, support (at least if relevant), my own reading list, journal, and a way to post: I don't necessarily need this last to be on the logged in page, though. - I like the birthday stuff. It's handy to have it in one place, and this is a good one place. - Ditto the recent comments stuff News I'm ambivalent about: what I really want is not to get the site news 5 times over sometimes. (I think currently, it shows up on my friends list, in my email, in my inbox, on the logged in home page, and most of these, it is non-intuitive to turn off.) Letting me pick one and having the others easy to turn off would make me very happy. Small thing, but true. -- Jenett http://gleewood.org/threshold :: http://gleewood.org/reading _______________________________________________ dw-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dwscoalition.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dw-discuss
