1) People who want to use DW privately and lurkers would HATE tracking of their reading. Hate it with the fire of ten thousand kryptonian suns. Write haikus about DW's evil. Make little DW effigies with GIF flames as icons.
2) It wouldn't actually address Treewishes' desire to give a minimal response to a post.
