Hi Dylan,
I have no doubt I can learn to use EDI translators; my previous employers wouldn't train me as they said that's what the IT department is for! However, right now I am currently not working and don't have access to business apps or EDI translators to train myself on. Any advice on how this can be accomplished? I do know basic programming theory; just not the actual coding. I took Cobol in college but that has long since been forgotten. I am looking to get a refresher course on the basics and will take your advice on the programming languages and tutorials. By the way, I've seen a few training courses offered by EDI Academy and 1EDISource. Anyone familiar with these. Would that be something that would be worth investing in? They are 2 day courses, for about $1,200. Thanks again for any input...
