I am quite pleased with search within AppleMail - which is in fact a spotlight search.

However, I absolutely hate that emails (and visited webpages) are included in the general spotlight search results window. Sometimes when I search for some common API it'll find 10.000 results from emails (and I am looking for some samplecode files using that API).

I would kill for a MUA which doesn't expose its content to the general spotlight search - or for a possibility to exclude emails (and visited webpages) from general spotlight search results.
