SHow results only shows up if you have results, but after opening a search
window and searching for your address in it I did see all the mail messages, as
you said. I just never use this view, so I didn't think to check it.
Adding ~/Library/Mail to the privacy settings even brings up a dialog saying
the search feature won't work in "some applications". THis is probably right.
What is *not* right is that the preference in Spotlight specifically says "Only
selected categories will appear in Spotlight search results" and this statement
is wrong.
