SHow results only shows up if you have results, but after opening a
search window and searching for your address in it I did see all the

The Spotlight popup only shows a few results. When there's more, the
window is the only way to get to it.

dialog saying the search feature won't work in "some applications".
THis is probably right. What is *not* right is that the preference
in Spotlight specifically says "Only selected categories will appear
in Spotlight search results" and this statement is wrong.
It's not wrong - it really limits the popup results.
But I couldn't care less whether 2-3 mails show up in the popup - I
don't want thousands of emails in the search result window when I look
for document files.
So this preference should not limit the popup, but the window.
Too bad.
Yeah. But that's a bug in spotlight and not in the email client. Back
to topic again...
