you do mean 512MB not 512k RAM, right? Anyhow, I am sorry to hear that you have so much problem with Firefox, perhaps you can file bug reports, or just use Safari for now. Perhaps it has something to do with the sites you go to, as we have no problem using Firefox with machine from Powerbook Pismo, iBook G3 500, iMac G4 800, G4 400, G4 dual 867, G5's, Powerbook G4 500Mhz, 1Ghz, Mac Mini, plus many others .... But you know what? We have not really tried on any eMac as we just don't have one of those. Oh, we have normally tabs open from a few to about 20-30 tabs as the max, after that, we tend to want to read each page and close up those tabs we read. Hey, go download Firefox 1.5 beta and try that one out and see if it works better for you? ver. 1.5 sure sounds a lot more improvement than 1.0.6 Also, patch up to 10.4.2 Tiger with all the other security patch, etc. They do help. 10.4.0 is not so smooth.
