I did take a gander at its source about 6 months ago, but came to the 
conclusion that I wasn't grokking the overall picture well enough to even 
dot an i or cross a t in it.  :( 20 years ago I would have barged right in 
and played that famous bull in a china shop.  Then I learned that if I 
broke it, I got to keep all the pieces. :)
