I need to provide a function to stop the carousel at a the proper
encoder value, maybe using PID, so the carousel should try to maintain
position within the deadband.

I was looking for "addf modmath.N ..." in the Mazak .hal, now I know to
look for "addf mod_dir.N ...", oops.
