I think the DAC outputs on the old Hostmot-4 firmware/driver are roughly 
equivalent to the pwmgen outputs on the new Hostmot2.  The normal way 
it's done is a pwmgen output gets connected to something like a Mesa 
7i33 board, which makes 0-10V based on the duty cycle of the pwmgen.
