>From memory, the Integrex only have two motors, a 15, 30 or 40HP spindle, depending on the model, and a 7 or 10HP for the milling axis. The spindle is essentially just a big geared servo, it can position accurately and hold just like any other servo - The large torque is paramount to hold against the machining forces, unfortunately the penalty for success is the large price.
