Well I'm not Chris but usually that means the boot hard disk is not connected or not powered. Jiggle all the cables related to the disk and try again. That machine is a bit goofy in that it has a SATA controller on the motherboard but a PATA hard disk, and it has a SATA-to-PATA adapter in between.
