Compare it to the relevant header in your reply Date: Wed, 7 Sep 2011 09:13:21 -0400 Plenty of other emails to this list come from the "+" side of the prime meridian so I suspect your mailfilter is barfing on something else in the rather large number of headers in Peter's messages.
