Aram,
Your request to simplify the pendant to be plug and play is not consistent
with your desire to have EMC2 flexible. If you want EMC2 to be flexible you
should like seeing the 'mile long code' as this allows a lot of different
configurations. If EMC2 becomes all plug and play then you will be
restricted to only what the plug and play will allow. There are computer
systems that are almost only plug and play. When the plug and play works
like what you want they are great. When the plug and play does not do what
you want or how you want, it is almost impossible to get the system to do
what you want or how you want.
Keep working to understand the mile long code and you will be much happier
with EMC2
Have fun with it
Stuart

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
