Aram, Your request to simplify the pendant to be plug and play is not consistent with your desire to have EMC2 flexible. If you want EMC2 to be flexible you should like seeing the 'mile long code' as this allows a lot of different configurations. If EMC2 becomes all plug and play then you will be restricted to only what the plug and play will allow. There are computer systems that are almost only plug and play. When the plug and play works like what you want they are great. When the plug and play does not do what you want or how you want, it is almost impossible to get the system to do what you want or how you want. Keep working to understand the mile long code and you will be much happier with EMC2 Have fun with it Stuart
