Unless you have a high end SSD, replacing it is probably the best bet. If you want it to 'last longer', consider putting in a 'round brown and spinning' drive and doing your 'work' off of that. Then nightly, or weekly, or however long you don't consider OK to sacrifice, back up to SSD/Flash/Offsite (using something like crashplan)
