kirk they will cut with the glass cutter, however it will not be fun
:) alas my panels are made from glass doors as well , got about 6 of
em. are you planning on getting a charge controller?  i would advise a
manufactured panel unless just wanting to experiment. as to cutting
several light passes them sandwich between card bord and bend at
score. this is how mit recommends doing it , with a bit of practice it
can be done fairly well. i also recommend a charge controller to keep
from boiling the battery, and 17 volt panel, i would say a 60 watter
would do you well they are about 24x30 i have a kyocera and it does
very well. i strongly recommend the syl gard to encapsulate them as
any other method will burn more time and money to get right than
buying 2 panels. hope this helps , good luck
