We maybe can fix that Jeremy, I downloaded the manual from Longs, and
there are jumpers inside it. But I don't see a condition that enables
both edges. Only one edge is claimed. The default is the rising edge of
the current fed to the optoisolator input, which sounds kosher to me.

But 2 or 3 pages on into the 17 page manual, is some sort of not to clear
gobbledygook about triggering a test sequence by the rapid double cycle
of SW4, the stanby current switch, 2x a second IF its never been done,
OR if the drive currents have been changed. The motor will jiggle while
it does some calibrating. Possibly someone better equipt to translate
that into regular english might speak up.

Its better than some of the J.A.Pan Company "engrish" I've had to deal
with over the last 50+ years in broadcasting, but still its not
perfectly clear to me.

I have printed it, and will investigate this tomorrow & report what I
find. It could possily answer a question or 2 anyway.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
