Guys, I've owned this machine quite a while, I know how it works. I'm not new in the plastics arena as I started moulding in the early 90's. This particular machine is made for vertical moulding, I can flip it as it is. It takes me 15 minutes to re-arrange the setup for verticals and it runs perfect that way too. On a vertical you simply slide the moulds into place. I prefer that instead of craning any given day. We're not talking 60 ton or above. This is a 35 ton machine so the moulds aren't really that heavy. A slow PC with LinuxCNC and an Arduino board is way cheaper than any PLC ECU. If I retrofit this lump _it_will_be_ LCNC. But at the moment I am more into ripping it up and save some of the parts for a home brew. /S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monitor Your Dynamic Infrastructure at Any Scale With Datadog!
