I hear you Gene, while I can't remember anything from 1940 for obvious reasons I can remember things from late 50's like sledding down a road with a rather large rock at the sharp turn a the bottom... again with the obvious results. The one thing that Dad hated the most was loosing his memory and I feel the same way. It's frustrating to get up from your chair and walk from the machine shop to the garage and forget why you did...
