105F is about 40C.     40C is fine for PLA.

If you do have heat issues, the first solution is to use  ABS plastic as it
can handle temps up to about 90C. and I hope your motor never gets that
hot.        They also make a glass-filled nylon that is even stronger when
hot and very stiff and hard with the glass microfiber inside.

About printed gears, Make the center to center distance adjustable.  I've
got a couple module 2.0 spur gears here I printed and it does not seem to
matter if there is a 0.5% size error.  I just move the spacing by 0.5%.
They seem to be tolerant of running with zero clearance too.   This
helps with backlash.
