Since I have a printer (Dremel 3D45) big enough to do it, I'm doing the 4 internal pieces of it, in PETG, but will make an alu housing in 2 parts from 1" stock. But I'm learning OpenSCAD as I go and for my old wet ram, that is a slow slog. But it keeps me out of the bars too. :) Pix if and when I get it working. > On Fri, Mar 19, 2021 at 8:07 AM Sam Sokolik <[email protected]> wrote: > > So - this didn't make it 6 hours with the steppers running 833rpm > > (3000deg/min at the face plate) (forward reverse some > > positioning...) > > > > http://electronicsam.com/images/greenmachine/IMG_20210317_073558.jpg > > > > Now - I am sure it would last longer if it was run slower...
