I've been maintaining all the EFL-related package in Debian for the past 2
years. Believe me, I completely understand what it's like dealing with this
situation. While I acknowledge that this used to be a PITA (things improved
quite a bit recently), I'm pretty convinced that maintaing my packages in the
SVN would have made my work even harder.
